Bistro 17 has been open for 10 years. It’s Country French Cuisine is unique to Hilton Head. From Brittany and Normandy in the north, via the Loire, Burgundy and the Auvergne to the Pyrenees and Provence in the south, the cooking of regional France is justly renowned for the quality of its ingredients, the delicious dishes created from them and the infinite variety of local wines to accompany them
Jim Buckingham, the owner and head Chef has been an Island staple. Jim owned two restaurants on the Island before opening Bistro 17. His love for Country French food has made Bistro 17 a popular place for both locals and visitors alike
